GPU (optional)Integrated GPU sufficient for basic workloadsOptional: NVIDIA T600 / RTX A2000 for local AI inferencing

🔸 II. Cloud Hosting Options

If deploying Nodl Flux S in a cloud environment, the minimum instance types are:

Cloud ProviderMinimum Instance TypeFor TEE/DECC Support
AWSt3a.medium or c6a.largem6a.large + Nitro Enclaves
AzureB2s or D2as_v5DCsv3 or DCdsv3 (Intel SGX)
GCPe2-standard-2confidential-vm-e2 (AMD SEV)

Minimum cloud image support:

  • Ubuntu 22.04 LTS

  • Docker (latest)

  • Flatpak or Snap (optional GUI layer)

  • WireGuard or Tailscale for private mesh

🔸 III. Use Case Mapping

Deployment Tier Required Hardware ClassDECC/TEE NeededExample Use Cases
Basic Node N100 / 3020e Mini PCNoCaching, relay, federated learning helper nodes
  Ryzen 5 / i5 11th GenOptionalInference, micro-batching, local token models
Trusted Node Ryzen 7 Pro / Core i7 w/ TEEYesAI agent hosting, secure data processing
Zetta-Linked Node          Same as above + bonded storageYes + StorageConfidential workflows, encrypted edge compute

🔸 IV. Software Requirements

  • OS Compatibility: Ubuntu 22.04+, Debian 11+, Arch Linux (tested)

  • Runtime:

    • Node.js 20+

    • Docker + Compose

    • Python 3.11+

  • Dependencies:

    • TPM modules for attestation (if enabled)

    • Secure boot enabled in BIOS/UEFI (recommended)

  • Network:

    • Static IP or dynamic DNS

    • Port 443, 5000, and custom mesh ports (as configured)

  • Telemetry:

    • Optional but recommended (for reward audit + uptime validation)

🔸 V. Policy and Operational Guidance
